Mom, even after 5 years, I miss you so much. Your birthday yesterday was another poignant reminder of the hole in my heart that nothing can fill until I am with you again. Life is not the same without hearing your gentle voice during our weekly phone conversations or feeling your soft warm hugs when we were together in San Diego or the Springs. Sending you all my love.
