Wanda Ellsworth Obituary
Wanda graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1957 and Blair's business college in 1958. After graduating, she managed a rental property and was active in The Rattler's Hot Rod Club, Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society and Colorado Springs Fly Casting Club. Wanda loved to visit her family's cabin and go fishing. She was very interested in researching her ancestry and the long history her family has had in the Colorado Springs area.
Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ollie. To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her sons, Sterling "Mitch" Ellsworth of Colorado Springs and Frank F. Ellsworth of Black Forrest; four grand children that she loved with all her heart, Cole, Madison, Brianna and Kailey; as well as her niece Suzie and more friends than we can count.
Visitation is Saturday May 7th, 2016 from 10 to 11am and will be followed by the funeral and a reception to celebrate Wanda's amazing life. All will be held at Swan-Law Funeral Home 501 N. Cascade Colorado Springs, Co. Private burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Pioneers Museum in Colorado Springs, Co. [email protected]

IT IS SO HARD TO EXPRESS MY LEVEL OF THE LOSS I FEEL FOR MY DEAR, DEAR FRIEND OF 45 YRS. GOD GAVE HER TO US TO ENJOY FOR A WHILE BUT, NOW HAS TAKEN HER BACK HOME. WE WILL NEVER FORGET HER. SHE WILL REMAIN IN MY HEART, THOUGHTS, AND PRAYERS FOR AS LONG AS I REMAIN ON THIS EARTH. MY LOVE TO THE BOYS AND THEIR FAMILIES. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. AND PLEASE KEEP IN TOUCH.
