Winifred Gendreizig Obituary

Wini was born in New York City to Frederick and Ada (Fischer) Bischoff. She graduated from high school in Westwood, NJ. She attended The College of William & Mary and graduated from Pennsylvania University in 1941. She enjoyed playing bridge, Mexican dominos and doing crossword puzzles. Wini and her husband, the late Lt Colonel Henry Gendreizig, traveled extensively in Europe, the USA and the Caribbean.

She is survived by her son Lawrence (Shirley) of Lyons, CO, a daughter, Judith Studer (Bruce-deceased), 2 grandsons, Adam (Nicole) Studer of Casper, Lucas Studer of Phoenix, 2 great-grandchildren, Von and Harlowe Studer of Casper and a favorite niece, Dr. Daryl Costos of Sherborn, MA.

Judy and Larry,
I was so sorry to hear about your mother. I have thought about her many times over the years. I learned so much from her when she was our Girl Scout leader in junior high school. She definitely left an imprint on my life.
Sincerely,
Liz Steiner
