Winifred "Winnie" Charlotte McKee
April 10, 1922 ~ Sept. 7, 2014
Resident of Pinole
Winnie passed away peacefully Sunday evening in her home due to heart failure.
She married Charles McKee in 1946 and was widowed in 1988. Winnie had no children. She loved music and liked to dance. She grew up in Oakland with her younger brother Gene who passed away in 2002. After living in El Cerrito for many years, she spent the last 10 years at Bay Park in Pinole and loved it. She was a member at Argonaut No.166 NDGW since 1955, where she served as an organist. She was a member at St. Luke's Methodist Church since 1966. Winnie's smile and good nature will be missed. A memorial service is scheduled for October 4th, 1pm at St. Luke's church 3200 Barrett Avenue, Richmond. Fellowship to follow. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Luke's Church.

Winnie was a member of Four Seasons Arts for many years, attending concerts and participating in trips. She was fun-loving and a very talented and sweet person. We will miss her wit and kind ways.
