Loadmaster MSGT Andy Bolen (Ret.) went into the sky he loved so much October 4, 2021.
He called home the Air Force but spent time in Denver where he raised his family (Carolyn, Steve, Becky, and Felicia) and in 1992 retired with his wife Betty of fifty plus years to Garcia, Colorado. A place similar to their birth places of rural settings.
His last years were in Colorado Springs, near Peterson AFB, his second home and near his family.
Triple interment, Friday, November 5, 2021, at Fort Logan National Cemetery with his wife, Betty and son, Steve.

I am so sorry for your loss of your Dad. I knew Andy from the 901st/302nd as my x husband was Oly Olson a loadmaster who flew with your Dad. I was also the Supply Technician for the Wing, I have some great pictures of your Dad from a TDY to England a long time ago. Your Dad was a great and kind man. He loved flying. If you would like help with any matters related to casualty assistance, Defense Finance & Accounting Service, Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP), Veterans Affairs (VA), etc. you can contact our office on Buckley SFB at 720-847-6693. The RAO is staffed by volunteers, all military retirees themselves, and our sole purpose is to provide assistance to any military retirees and surviving spouses/family members with anything related to their military service and/or benefits, in particular during difficult times such as this. We are deeply sorry for your loss.
