Blaine Clark was born July 10, 1941, to Bernard and Esther (Rishel) Clark in Alamosa, CO and passed away April 26, 2023, in Colorado Springs, CO. He married Virginia Goodrich June 4, 1961 in La Junta, CO. Blaine graduated from Adams State College in 1963 and started his teaching career in Rocky Ford, CO where he taught for six years and then moved to Colorado Springs in 1969 and spent 28 years teaching in District #11 (15 years at Jackson Elementary, 13 years at Carver Elementary) and coaching girls' basketball at Doherty and Mitchell.
Blaine loved sports, reading, working in his beautiful yard, and above all else he loved his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother David. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, his two children Bill (Connie) Clark and Dawn (Chris) Valentine and five grandchildren Brittany and Braelyn Clark, Clark, Jordan and Dustin Valentine.
We know Blaine is with the Lord now and would love for our friends to join us for a Celebration of his Life at an Open House, May 28, 2023, from 1:30-3:30 pm at Georgetown Square Clubhouse, 1917 N. Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO.

Dear Clark family-

I was so sorry to read this. My condolences to you all. I have great memories of him. He was definitely one of my favorite teachers at Jackson in the 70s. He was so caring and fun! I was lucky enough to have him for several grade levels. Take care.
