A friend like Bev is such a blessing. I think of her often and have always missed her. My memories console me and remind me of our capricious adventures, our shared frustrations, our ardent efforts to critique each other's paintings, and the comfort of our loving friendship.

Bev was a neighbor both on Vickers Dr.. and in
Black Forest on Pommel Cr. We bpth owned horses
and rode at Kettle Creek. I considered her one of
my best friends and have really missed her. It
seems hard to believe that she has left us so long
ago. I have since moved to Ft. Collins where her
grandchildren live. I have lost contact with Jon, but
I still keep BEV in my memories as I do my first
husband Dennis. joanne katnik

Bev was one of my closest friends ever. Our passions for Art and Nature brought us together over 30 years ago. I adored her sense of humor and appreciated her love of adventure! Being around Bev was like a vacation into the most energetic and creative parts of my mind! I will always miss her but know that she is in a peaceful place.

Bev was a good friend/neighbor for almost 30 years. There are so many memories that come back to me every day. She was there for me through my trials--death of a husband, family problems, and in my happy times, when I met and married Dick. I admired her faith and how she led her life. We didn't always agree on politics, but we respected each other's points of view. I wished I could have been at the memorial service, but Dick and I were out of the country. I hope Bev has found a peaceful place and can be amused at us earthlings trying to carry on without her! Joanne and Dick Katnik

Jon,
My thoughts are with you at this very sad time. I just learned about Bev's passing during a Tri Delta brunch today, and it was a shock to me. So sorry I missed the memorial. We have two of Bev's lovely paintings hanging in our home---I purchased those years ago, and have treasured them ever since, especially since she was a sorority sister, but also because she was such a gifted artist. It is sad that we did not remain in touch, but I have thought of her many times through the years.
My best to you,

Bev was the close friend of my older sister and I enjoyed getting to know Bev through the years when I spent time with Bev and my sister Nancy. I loved Bev's sense of humor and her enthusiasm for her artnand for fly-fishing and nature in general. Bev will be greatly missed.
