Caleb passed into eternal rest in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, following a tragic traffic accident.
Caleb, being from a military family, grew up all over the United States and Okinawa Japan. He was an artist, writer, and composer. He was previously employed at the USAFA commissary, as well as an art student at PPCC prior to the pandemic. He was currently employed at Maverick Gas Station. Although his autism kept him from service jobs like firefighting, law enforcement, or the military, Caleb chose to serve his fellow man by electing the choice of being an Organ Donor. Many lives will be saved by his unselfish act.
Caleb is survived by his mother, Sallie (Beard) and father, GySgt Mike Anderson; his sister Victoria; brother, Noah (Edythe Wilson); brother, Jesse (Violet Velasquez); and nephews and nieces, Pippin, Lia, J.D., Rowen, and Abby, as well as his paternal Grandparents, Judy and CMsgt Chuck Anderson of Tucson, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandparents David and Emma Beard of Louisville, Kentucky.
Caleb's memorial service will be held at New Life Downtown / The Commons at 332 N Tejon St., Colorado Springs, at 3:00pm on Friday the 18th of November. There will be a small private reception afterwards at Caleb's family home in Cimmaron Hills. Burial of his cremains will be decided at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to any local music therapy organization of your choosing, especially ones that work with children and adults on the autism spectrum.
