Carrie was such a wonderful person and a great friend. She was so kind and loving. She always made me feel like I was a special friend. I thank God that we were so lucky to have spent time with Jim, Carrie, Ashley and Lucas in Memphis before Carrie and Lucas died. Carrie - we miss you so much! Lucas -- give your mom a hug and tell her we love her.

Carrie and I went to Junior High and HS together. We played on the same sports teams for years. We were captains of the track team together. We spent MANY nights getting together having parties and having fun. We liked to go toilet-papering and play games. Carrie and a few of us started the SWAT team together - just a fun name for her group of friends. Carrie and others went with my family to Mexico for HS graduation. Carrie was one of my bridesmaids when I was married. We have kept in touch with Christmas letters every year, just receiving her last one just a few short weeks ago. I was informed late of her passing and was so sad to have missed the funeral. I loved Carrie like a sister and my family (my parents especially) cared for her very much. Wayne and Gale were wonderful to me and shepherded me in my youth. Although I have only met Jim at the Salt Lake airport, I know he is a wonderful man. I hope he will find comfort and find peace through the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Carrie loved her country and was true and faithful to her friends. Carrie was also religious and I feel comforted knowing that she already had a personal relationship with Christ. She will know him when she sees him. I will miss her very much. My heart aches for her family and I extend my deepest sympathy and love for them.
With Love,
Meechelle Talbot ("Meech" Stewart)

I am so sad for your loss. I went to high school with Carrie and although I had not seen her in recent years she is one of the people that was always on my mind. She was a wonderful person and she will be greatly missed. Your entire family will be in my prayers.

As members of the same church we watched Carrie grow from a young girl into a wonderful lady. She was a good friend to our daughter Lara and friend to all she met. To Wayne and Darlene, you raised two great daughters. We love you and due to our personal loss we understand the pain you feel with the absence of Carrie and grandson Lucas. We are so sorry this tragedy happened, we loved Carrie. To Jim and Ashley, we never had the opportunity or privilege to know you but you are in our prayers, wishing you the best of God's love in the years to come.

We send our heartfelt sympathy and prayers to each of you during this difficult time. Years ago, I trained your father at the Post Office and will always remember his adoring family. Let God's hands tenderly hold you now and comfort your hearts. May all the wonderful memories of Carrie and Lucas bring each of you enjoyment until we all meet again in Heaven.

We were shocked to her of your loss. We shared time time with you. Carrie was a very special person -- her love for the Lord & her talents on the Air Force Acadmey basketball team. We know her family will miss her, but you will see her again -- this time for ever.

Our son, David Trujillo went to school with Carrie at Doherty and became very good friends with her and that friendship extended into their adult lives. My family was very sorry to hear of your great loss! Our hearts are saddened that Carrie and Lucas left this life so very early. May your memories help you get thru this time and keep their spirits in your hearts forever. On behalf of the Trujillo Family, our sincere sympathies.
