Peggy, your husband was there for me when I first got saved and started attending church at the pirmasens chapel in 1984. He baptized me and dedicated my new baby "Charlie " in December of 1986. Then when she was diagnosed with cancer in 1989 I hunted him down in fort Campbell for comfort. He called me back, prayed for me, and told me your ladies group was also praying for Charlie. She died, but y´all definitely provided much needed hope and comfort. I´m sorry for your loss, but happy that you were blessed with such a long, loving marriage. God bless you

Chaplain Adams was my favorite spiritual leader. He took me all the way to Israel, where I was baptized in the Jordan River. I will always hold a special place in my heart for you and Peggy. Chuck brought my husband to the Lord, I am forever grateful. Larry also was with the Lord, so I´m sure they have plenty to catch up on.
My thoughts and prayers go with Peggy and the children.

My thoughts and prayers are with Peggy and all the family. I know it's never easy losing someone you love.
As you celebrate his life, and many achievements, please know that one of the greatest is how he supported the people in his care. He was there for our family during deployments and other times. His kind compassionate servants heart was evident, and also his great sense of humor! Of all the chaplains I have met, he is the best by far.
I pray God will comfort and give you peace as you walk this new journey, knowing he is home.

Chuck was such a good man who always shared his laughter and sense of humor along with his love for the Lord with everyone he knew. As a Bible teacher, he was solid and steady bringing wit and wisdom to his lessons. You are missed Chuck. Well done!

Chuck was a friend from our Bible college days starting in 1960! We worked together cleaning stalls at the Springfield, Missouri stockyards during our time in college! Our friendship reconnected when we all lived in Europe during the same time!

Chaplain Adams & his family helped take care of our family when CW 4 ret. John Roberts was serving in desert shield from Ft. Campbell KY. We retired to Colorado & continued a family friendship. He baptized our first grandson. Went hunting with our family & friends. Shared the use of their family cabin. He and his wife Peggy were caring generous people. He will join John in heaven. May they renew that friendship. Blessings to all his family. If possible could someone from the family call Nancy at 719-231-7439. We feel deeply for the loss of such a wonderful friend

My friend Jennifer and I sat in the same pew at church with Chuck and Peggy for years. We considered ourselves pew mates. He was such a special man and always telling us to behave. Just like a dad. He will be missed. Margie Knighton
