Charles David Crippen, 82, of El Paso County, Colorado, passed away December 31, 2025. Born and raised in El Paso County, Charles was a lifelong resident and worked his entire career for Schmidt Construction.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy, the love he carried for her never faded, and his family finds comfort in knowing they are together once again.
He is survived by his children Troy (Robin), Tracy, Eddie, (Emily) and Renee; grandchildren Jessey, Kaylee, Tracie, Kristine, Jessica, Dale Paul, Jade, and Ashley; great-grandchildren Jaycie, Diana, and Adah; and his beloved dog, Ruby.
A celebration of life will be held February 14th, contact family for details.

Chuck was a quiet and humble man. He loved to ride his tractor with Ruby at his side. Sandy passed on several years ago and loved animals too. I will miss them both.

I love you dad, thank you for being so opened hearted and loving me to be part of the family. We have so many good time over the 26 years, one of my favorite is cooking for you cuting trees down and going the day after Christmas, to get you more Christmas lights. Yes ever year Troy and I put up new lights, taking down the ones that didn't work from the year before and adding more. We loved you more than you know, RIP papa you will be deeply missed
