Charles Willhoit Obituary

Jan. 04, 1922 - Oct. 18, 2008 Charles E. Willhoit (Gene), 86, of Colorado Springs passed on October 8, 2008. Gene was born in Huneewell, Missouri. He was a 60 year resident of Colorado Springs. He served in the US Army and was awarded 3 Bronze Stars. He worked in farming, ranching and construction. He retired from Stressco Inc. after 16 years. Gene married Marie Willhoit (Reynolds) May 6, 1972 who preceded him in death. His son Walter Hall also preceded him death. He will be missed by his sons, Chuck, Carl and Jim; daughters, Nickie, Nancy, Pam, Sue and Jean; grandchildren, Charles III, Lori, Brandon, Jenni, Rhonda, Kenneth, Judy, Billy, Andy, Cody, Seth, Jimmy, Charlene, Nancy, Matthew, Allen, Danny; great grandchildren, Charles IV, Alex, Michael, Xavier, Max, Walter, Nicole, Matthew, Madison, Briawna, Davin, Janelle, Naomi, Cody, Jacob, Steven, Ryan, Cory, Noah, Carl, Ashley, Hunter and Frank, Kelli,Kathryn. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2008. Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2008. Both at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, 3825 Airport Rd. In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to the Cancer Society.
