Tad passed away peacefully on Friday morning following a short struggle with cancer. He had lived in Colorado Springs all of his life, graduating from Cheyenne Mountain High School in 1980. As a young man Tad worked a variety of jobs, notably as a bell man at the Broadmoor Hotel for over a decade. He then cared for his mother, Helen Murray, who passed away last year. Tad is survived by his brothers Jon Murray (wife Jennifer), Jim Murray (wife Paulette), and sister Alison Murray Kuller, along with many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by them as a friendly man who was quick to laugh, and shared his love of collecting Legos, Star Wars memorabilia, beer steins, and goofy hats.

Tad was a friend for many years, having met at Air Academy Junior High in the mid 1970´s. I knew him and Helen very well. I´m sorry that I wasn´t available to see you before passing and very saddened about this news. Until we meet again. Stan Culp and family

You lit a candle in our hearts as we watched the devotion you demonstrated on a daily basis to your Mother, Helen. The many trips that you made enabling her to see family and visit friends, significantly enriched her life. Sundays, you made a trip to allow her to celebrate the Sabbath and be with her Church family. You live on in our home as we gaze at the rocker, the Tasha Tudor books, the rabbit and Helen´s collection of dolls. In the last days, you expressed your belief in God and therefore, we believe you are at the Banquet Table with your Mom.
We love you Tad.
