Patrick was born on January 31, 1990 in Colorado Springs, and passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2026. Pat was a life long resident of Colorado Springs. He graduated from Cheyenne Mountain High School in 2008 and then pursued his education at the University of Colorado (UCCS), graduating in 2013 with Highest Distinction in Visual and Performing Arts.
After college Pat became the Gallery director at the BAC in Manitou Springs before starting a career in software engineering. Patrick was a very compassionate person who had an enormous heart, leading to yet another career change in search of something more purposeful. This brought him to the medical field, a career in which he could utilize his giving heart.
Patrick loved and respected his Colorado mountains, spending time stargazing, hiking, camping and snowboarding. He was an avid snowboarder, taking many ski trips with his wife and two children. Pat also enjoyed travelling both at home and abroad, expanding his knowledge of other countries and cultures.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife Kaitlyn and his children lndrid and Artemis. He is also survived by his mother and father, Jana and Steve Bohnen, brothers Matthew and John (Liz) and his nephews Brantley, Harrison and Duncan Bohnen. He is preceded in death by his older brother Frederick. Patrick's many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues share the family's sorrow at his passing.
Throughout his life Pat was an ambitious, talented person who always strived to do the absolute best he could at whatever endeavor he was embarking on. He was also a very kind and caring individual as well as a devoted and committed father. He will be greatly missed but always loved and will remain with us forever in our hearts
