Daniel Blaylock Obituary

Daniel James Blaylock, former Colorado Springs resident, entered heaven on July 7, 2011 while riding his motorcycle just outside of Tonkawa, OK. Daniel was born to Jacquetta Claussen and Dennis Blaylock on September 15, 1975 in Lawton, OK. Danny is survived by his mother, Jacquetta McFarland and stepfather Brad of Colorado Springs; his father, Dennis Blaylock and stepmother Diane of Montrose; daughters Trinity of Colorado Springs and Kendra and Ashley of Phoenix, AZ; brothers Dennis Blaylock of Cherryvale, KS and Kevan McFarland of Ft. Collins; sisters Sabrina Whidden of Colorado Springs, Toni Chastain of Newton, KS, and Corinna McFarland of Boston, MA; grandmother Dorothy Claussen of Lincoln, KS; grandfather Joe Blaylock of Moundridge, KS, and numerous extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Galen Smith; uncles, Max and Mark Claussen; grandfather, Waldo Claussen; grandparents Tom and Loreen Williams; and grandmother, Leanna Blaylock. A memorial service will be held in Colorado Springs at Pikes Peak Metropolitan Community Church, 1102 S. 21st St., on August 6 at 2:00 PM.
