David was an amazing man. His smile was contagious and I considered him and loved him as my adopted Dad. I will never forget every time he called the store to talk to Darcie he always asked what are you giving free and our conversations will always be in my heart RIP Dad and I am certain that Manny is showing you around heaven

I went through a long period of unemployment in 2017. I had a number of other personal challenges going on during that period too. Dave would stop by on his way to or from the mailbox to just check on me and pass some time. We´d banter about which service was better, Navy or Marines, and share stories about time spent at sea.
Dave was a good man and was there when you needed him.
