DAVID MITCHELL
September 22, 1952 January 3, 2021
David lost his 10 year courageous battle with multiple myeloma on January 3.
He was born in Big Spring, TX to Jack and Doris and grew up in El Paso, TX where he met his loved and devoted wife of nearly 47 years, Mary. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1975 where David was an accomplished cabinet maker and estimator for architectural millwork firms.
They had two cherished sons, Jake and Steven and as a family spent many wonderful years exploring the awesome CO outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing; he was their most avid supporter.
Left to honor his memory are Mary, Jake & Steven as well as his sister, Janelle (Mick) Degn, his Aunt Leta, many cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
At David's request there will be no services. We would like to thank the staff at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, Penrose Infusion and Pikes Peak Hospice for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in David's memory to Leukemia And Lymphoma Society (LLS) on line or at PO Box 98018, Wash DC 20090.

To Mary, Jake and Steven,

Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss of David. He was one of my only male friends at Eastwood, and I know he will be missed.
