Delores Srnka-Ramirez Obituary

Srnka-Ramirez
Delores "Dolly" Srnka-Ramirez
November 27, 1939
April 8, 2022

Delores "Dolly" Srnka-Ramirez 82 years of age, passed away suddenly of complications due to a heart attack on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Penrose Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Dolly was born November 27,1939 in Pueblo, Colorado to the late Francisco and Delores Gonzales. She was the youngest of 7 children, 6 preceded her in death. Dolly was educated in the public school system of Pueblo, Colorado and received an associate degree in business from Denver Community College.
Dolly leaves to cherish her loving memory, her devoted companion Mr. Phillip Hunt. Her 3 children; Mr. Richard Srnka, Mr. Ivan and Bethany (Tindell) Srnka, and Mr. Richard and Lesley (Srnka) Antes. 3 grandchildren; Madeleine, Ysabel, and Kyle. 11 nieces and nephews and many adoring dear friends.
Born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. She was a voracious reader, adored Pueblo green chili (felt it much better than Hatch), and a comic strip enthusiast.
Dolly professed her life to Christ early on. She practiced her faith through helping others and working effortlessly to assist people in need. Particularly the elderly and underprivileged. Dolly was a private advocate of social justice and found ways to take meaningful action in her own way to practice her convictions. Grounded in her faith, her long-held belief centered around all humans are children of God no matter religious affiliation, where they live, what their language or station in life, and that the disenfranchised and poor want and deserve opportunities that will lift them from the hopelessness of poverty and oppression.
Her deep faith, prayer, advocacy, and love for others will remain the family's north star and inspiration for their lives.
A private memorial to celebrate Dolly's life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
The family asks that (in lieu of flowers) a contribution be made to Los Pobres, Inc. PO Box 304
Avondale, CO 81022 c/o Sister Nancy Crafton, founding director.
Los Pobres offers food, used clothing, limited medical care and other services to the underserved.

Dear Family of Doris, so sorry for your loss. Dolly had just attended our Mothers Funeral (Bertha Cordova) here in Pueblo. She had taken some pictures that our Tia's were excited to have her share the pictures with them. This Picture of Aunt Charlotte and Aunt Ercie is one of them. Aunt Frieda also lost her daughter one month after our mother passed. We will continue to pray for your family. Your mother sounds like she was the last of her siblings to pass, they are all together on the other side. God bless her and all your Family
