Pete Dufaud passed away on Apr 15, 2026 at the age of 90 after battling Angiosarcoma. Pete was born on March 20, 1936 in Detroit, MI. He grew up in Tucson, AZ and later moved on to a military life. A graduate of Loyola University, Pete went on to serve in the US Navy and US Air Force. On Sept 13, 1957, Pete married the love of his life Nannette (Sam) Delgado. After serving our country for 24 years including Vietnam, he retired in 1980. He started a family battery business that is still thriving. Pete loved traveling, playing golf and car auctions. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Francis Catholic Church. Pete is survived by his wife of 67 years, Nannette, his children: Scott Dufaud (Sheryl), Michele Collier (Courtney),Brad Dufaud (Lori), Jeanine Romig (Doug), Steve Dufaud (Lisa), 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Paul Jean Dufaud and his mother Marguarite Dufaud. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, 10:00 am at St. Francis Catholic Church, Colorado Springs. A reception will immediately follow with burial at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
