Donna Luckett Obituary

In Loving Memory of My Wife Donna (Dee) Jene Luckett June 30,1933 - March 10,2005. Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Another year has passed. Memories continue to sustain me. Without all of them, good and otherwise, I could not fully understand our lives together. I wish I could have had the foresight and knowledge about life and love through all the years of our marriage. Love is a deep feeling but just as important, maybe more so, it is also Behavior. No serious fights or quarrels, no false judgements and few if any misunderstandings. Only true complete love and compassion for each of us towards each other. Our lives together here on earth would have been very different. You, my darling, was the foundation - the stealth foundation of our marriage, because you were by my side and encouraged me in all I attempted to do through all of those years. You were the secret of my successful professional life because you inspired me to do what I did. If I could only live it all over again with you to tell you how I feel. I do know that you loved me and I loved you, but it should have been even better. You endured the near death pain and suffering to give life to and produce five living worldly wonders, your children, all of which you can be extremely proud. Your genes live and will be personified for generations upon generations to come. We were destined to be together. My part was minor. I can hardly wait until I can be with you again and for us to be aware of each other in GOD'S kingdom. In your heavenly place with Jesus, please forgive me for the heartaches I put you through during our 56 years together here on earth. I am truly sorry and ask your forgiveness. Thank you for trying to understand me during those times. I suspect you already know this but I relish and remember, more than anything, all of the good things we had and did together. I close my eyes and relive hundreds of our good times together. That is more precious to me than any others. Since you left, each and every day has been a real chore, not having you by my side. "I'll go on loving you" until the end of my time and "I'd love to be with you if only I could." May GOD bless you sweetheart and give you his eternal love forever as only he can do. See you later. Nick.
