Dorothy was born in Eads, Colo to Bessie Kettles & George Barr on May 27, 1930 and passed away in Colo Spgs on June 30th. Dorothy was a resident of the Fountain Valley area for 66+ years and along with her husband Forest (Mitch) started M&D Service in Fountain in the early 60's and developed it into a tractor dealership, Steel Tractor. Dorothy was preceded in death by both parents, 6 brothers & sisters, husband Forest (Mitch) Steel, grandson James Steel Jr. and great-granddaughters Samatha Rae & Abigayle Elizabeth Janish.
Dorothy is survived by her 3 sons - Rick (wife Joy), Jim (wife Marcia) and Don (wife Kiersten), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be at Memorial Gardens, Colo Spgs, on Wed July 13th between 10am-noon.
