I had the distinct pleasure of working with Ed during 2007 and 2008 to implement and execute the National Security Personnel System at NORAD and USNORTHCOM, in Colorado Springs. Ed and I invested a lot of time together developing and delivering excellence. During that time, we developed a strong bond as we discussed work, family, and faith.
I, too, will miss Ed and yet I hope you and I take some comfort in knowing that we will see Ed again in Heaven because our loving God would rather die Himself than live without each of us. God’s promise of eternal life with Him is for all of us who know Christ Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior. (I think Ed would like me to make that point clear.)
Josiane, I invite you to call me at 303 884-5886 for some thoughts that are more personal that I’d like to share with you.

My deepest condolences to the Koski family. I had the pleasure of being Ed's nurse and I will always remember his upbeat attitude and care and concern for others even while he was suffering himself. He will not be forgotten.

Dear Josiane –
I was devastated to see the memorial notice in The Gazette this morning regarding the passing of Ed. I had no idea Ed was so ill and want to offer my deepest and most sincere condolences to you and your family.
I am so very terribly sorry for you...
In deep sympathy,
Ann Heiring
