My condolences to Elvis's family. I had the pleaseure of meeting and working with him At Monroe Elementary School. Always a friendly and calming influence in a sometimes hectic environment, I especially remember his friendly kindness and good humor. He was also a thoughtful man, and I was pleased to think of him as a friend. Actually, I still do. His friendly smile and good humor continue to influence me personally and professionally. RIP, Elvis.

My fondest memories of Elvis is all the times he came into King Soopers on Murray, and we would talk about all the kids he had around him at the schools, you could tell he loved his work and all his kids. Then he would turn in his film and when he would pick them up we would look at his pictures. We would always make time to talk to Elvis, he was well known at Kings and we all loved him, he had a very big heart, and will be missed very much. Nora Graybill and Bill Phelan

Elvis worked for our home health care company as a social worker shortly after completing his masters. His compassion for the elderly and the young folks was always apparent.

He was also a valued softball coach for our company league.

He established a relationship with my young son that has left a lasting positive impression on my son.

My condolences to you and your family, Ernestine. Elvis will indeed be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Chief Miles was always a ray of sunshine everytime he would come into my place of business. He would always ask how my elderly father was and had words of hope each time. When my father passed away he made a special effort to stop and see me. He was a man of honor and truely one of a kind. My thoughts are with all of you.
