Esther Kauffman, beloved wife, mother, sister and Nana passed away peacefully on March 25th, 2024.

Esther was born on January 18th, 1945 in Goshen Indiana to Manass Sidney and Katie Ann Jones (Beachy). She met Vern Kauffman who became the love of her life. They married March 24th, 1963 and had four children. They moved to Colorado in May of 1972.

Besides raising four children Esther worked as a bus driver and later a secretary for School District 49 in Falcon, Colorado

Esther loved caring for her family, quilting, sewing, baking, cooking as well as, entertaining friends and family. Some special memories from grandchildren are big family gatherings, putting together Christmas presents for the less fortunate and playing under the quilt she was busy working on.

Esther leaves behind her children, Curtis Kauffman, Sharon Newton and Lesa Askew. Eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two sisters and 5 brothers.

Esther is preceded in death by her husband Vern, son Darrell, parents and brother Danny.
