Frank Fleury Obituary

Frank W. Fleury, age 85, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1981, passed away December 7, 2006 in Colorado Springs. Frank was born on January 8, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York the son of the late Frank and Anna Ernest Fleury. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served during WWII in Ireland, England, France and Germany. Frank retired from Mobil Chemical Company after 40 years of service. Frank was a member of Holy Apostles Catholic Church. He also loved painting, building model ships, and enjoyed woodworking. Frank married Rosalie Greco on January 6, 1946 in Flushing, New York. He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Fleury of Colorado Springs; his children; Jan (Larry) Suhr of Colorado Springs, Gregg (Carla) Fleury of Colorado Springs; Lisa (Rick) Conyers of England, Arkansas; Clifford (Nancy) Fleury of Brielle, New Jersey; five grandchildren; Kristin and Kevin Suhr; Allison, Breandon and Caragh Conyers; two step-grandchildren Kitten Lee and Erin Williamson; two step great grandchildren, Hana Fields and Ethan Williamson; also one brother George (Harriet) Fleury of Plainfield, New York, a sister-in-law, Mary (Anthony) Weisenburger of Colorado Springs. Frank was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Stumpel and Gloria DiMassis and a brother, Andrew Fasel. Frank was a very caring person and enjoyed helping friends, family and neighbors. He had a love for life and an adventurous spirit. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 10, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home 1830 E. Fountain Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 11, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 N. Carefree Circle Colorado Springs. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs.
