Frank Howard Obituary

Frank "Wes" Wesley
Howard
December 15, 2023

Wes died on December 15th of this year. For all that knew him he was known as a prolific seeker of knowledge, absorbing all manner of subject matter, far beyond a college degree. Wes was a veteran of The United States Air Force, a lifelong entrepreneur, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, and friend.
To experience his travels one would need to refer to a world atlas to begin to catalog his adventures. An accomplished pilot, Wes touched down as far north as The Arctic Circle and as far south as Ushuaia, Argentina logging thousands of hours in-between.
In his later years, having enjoyed success in his endeavors, Wes enjoyed sharing his knowledge and good fortune by supporting the efforts of various beloved civic and educational organizations. He endeavored to foster his love of learning and the opportunities it affords to any willing to hear.
Those of us left behind will miss all that was he with cherished memories and hard earned wisdom he bestowed upon all of us.
Wes was insistent that no formal ceremony take place. Please remember him by these final works- "When alive, I lived. Bye bye.".
In lieu of flowers please consider contributing to Atlas Preparatory School, The Salvation Army, or The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Was going through old contacts and this sad news came up in the search...

My and Nadia's belated condolences to you, Charlotte.
Wes spooked us landing low on Lajitas, TX, land strip - and then graciously invited us for cocktails in his and Charlotte's Lajitas condo.

October 2006, nearly 19 years ago. He was so full of life.

Once again - our deepest condolences.

I only just saw this. I did not knos Wes had passed away. My Condolences to you, Charlotte and family. I only knew Wes from golf at the CC , but he was an easy man to know, friendly, always joking and always interesting. I always enjoyed his company. I wish i had known him better. So sorry, this was a very big loss.

Well I remember Wes from our times in business. Without question one of the coolest people I ever met. Saddened by his passing. He certainly lived life to the fullest. He was a trip. The ending of his obituary was classic Wes. That man put the C in the word cool.

So sorry for your loss, Charlotte and family. Wes was a very interesting, funny, and loving man. Memories go way back for me when I used to babysit for you two in Idaho Falls! Then, we continued the memories each time my parents visited Colorado Springs. You will be missed by all, Wes.
