Frank Johnson III

Frank "Topper" Johnson III, son of the late Frank Gilbert Johnson Jr and Evelyn (nee Jaworski) Johnson was born August 28, 1943, in Kingsville, Texas. He spent his growing up years in Columbus, Nebraska, and completed his high school years in Arcadia, California. It was there that he met and married the love of his live, Anne Frances Johnson. They were united in marriage on May 11, 1963. After a successful career in tire and insurance sales that moved them and their family all over the country, Frank, Anne, and their children settled in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1982.
Frank loved to spend time with his wife, 8 children, their spouses and all his grandchildren. The family has many fond memories of camping, boating, fishing, and hunting. He loved cheering his children and grandchildren during their sports, whether tennis, hockey, football, basketball, or baseball. He was the loudest cheerleader in the stands. His life was centered around his wife, his children, and their families.
Frank will be dearly missed and always remembered. Frank was predeceased by his father, Frank, his mother, Evelyn, his father-in-law Carl, his mother-in-law Nola, and his son-in-law, Michael. He is survived by wife, Anne, his children Elizabeth (Michael), Frank IV (Shelly), Michael (Julie), Joyell (Jim), James (Hilary), Daniel (Robyn), Diane (Andrew), and Mark. Frank is also survived by his grandchildren, Katherine, Sean (Riley), Frank V (Breleigh), Morgen, Jonah, Marc, Ian (Amy), Broker, Cyan, Olivia, Tyler, Hannah, Dakota (Gavin), Tristan, and Harry. Frank has 3 great-grandchildren, Jace, Juniper, and Frank VI and was excited for his 4th great grandchild to join in April. Frank is also survived by his brother-in-law James (Lydia) and his sister-in-law Nola Jane and many other family and friends.
