Papa I hope you know that I love you with all my heart.GO RED SOCKS!

April 23, 2011

To all of the Frank Macleod Family, I really know how much all of you are hurting. The perfect words are never there to ease your feelings. Keep on going one day at a time, that is what he would want you to do. When you look up in the sky, shoot him a hello and a little prayer of thanks that he was in your life. He loved you all as much as you loved him. The good memories will get you through it. Cry a little and don't forget to laugh a little also. When Frank looks down on you he will want to see more laughter. Hugs and kisses to you all. Carolyn and Mal.

He taught me how to swim, and he liked to make me laugh. It was funny when he asked me, "who loves Papa?" I would always say, "Mollie" then he would say, "who loves Mollie." and I would say, "Papa!"
I love you Papa, and I always will.

I know we didn't get to see each other so much latey, I can't think of a Hoilday that you & Lucy weren't there and there were many. We we miss your jokes, your kindness and most of all just you. To all my family, I know all to well how much it hurts. Talk about him often, I know you will. Yesterday was the hardest day for me since Mom passed. You are all in my thoughts & prayers. RIP Frank, we loved you.

I always loved coming up to visit you, but having your grandparents there was an added bonus! The conversation was always lively and full of laughter. He was quite a character, in the best sense of the word. Hugs to you all as you travel this path of grief again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To my Granddad,
I will miss our late night bowls of ice cream, ginger ale parties and your ability to surprise me with a, "new" joke! I will always remember your loyalty to loved ones, I will always admire your patience. I will remember the pearls of wisdom you shared. I will be sure to quote you when I can. I won't take for granted the memories of the short, but very precious time in which we found each other again. I won't let Grandma be lonely. I'll honor what is most important, and try not to lose sight of it. I will always give my grandkids a quarter for each kiss they bestow. I won't forget your kindness. I will, "Hold Fast" to doing the right thing, even if it's not the easiest. I'll make you proud. You will be missed
"I love you, and you are mine (Grammpaw)."
"Only kindness matters, in the end."
