Dr. Frank August Weir II

Frank Weir Obituary

Dr. Frank August Weir II passed away on March 26, 2013 at the age of 58. Frank was a loving father, brother, son, and uncle, and a caring practitioner of dental medicine. He moved to Colorado in 1982, having first come West to Phoenix in 1981. He grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and attended college and dental school at the University of Michigan. He ran a successful dental practice in Colorado Springs for nine years. After selling his practice and receiving an MBA and MSHA from the University of Colorado at Denver, he ran a consultancy that connected lawyers to medical experts, and also continued to practice dentistry around the state in various capacities until his death. Frank will be remembered for his keen mind and facility with words, his persistence in argument, his outstanding clinical skill, his love and mastery of golf and chess, and, above all, for his inspired and wonderfully absurd sense of humor that confused, confounded, consternated, and shocked, but also brought the joy of laughter into the hearts of many. He is survived by his son, Adam James Weir, six brothers and sisters, his mother, and numerous adoring nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Dr. Weir I will forever remember you for the person you were. Our short 6yrs of working together was but a blink of the eye. Think of you every day the office isn't the same without you. See you in the afterlife.
