Frederick Cash Obituary

Since we heard this sad news,we have been thinking about those good old days (and hearing a trumpet in our heads), so wanted to share a memory with Fred's dear family. In 1955 or 56 some of us went to a Louis Armstrong concert. We had a lot of fun, but this thing went way beyond fun...it was HOURS and HOURS! Finally, there weren't many people standing, except Louis, on stage blowing that horn, and Fred, in the stands, completely immersed in the music-with that happy smile on his face, like a man who knew what heaven sounds like. We trust now that Fred has arrived there, that Satchmo himself made sure that heaven sounded like home.

Fred will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. I'm so glad he had the chance to meet my new family and that we all got to spend some quality time with him these past few years. He is at peace now and free of pain and suffering and that's what will get us all through these trying times. We love and will miss him dearly.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.

I'm so sorry to here of the passing of you dad,as gorwing up as a young man he was the best.I was so glad to be able to spend time with him in 2005. He will truly be missed by me and all of use. I wish I could be with you in this time of need. God SPEED Fred, God Speed
