I also did not know Officer Swasey. I just watched the funeral. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with all of us. I was so inspired by Rachel, her grace, strength and poise. You, my dear, have shown more love than anyone I have ever seen. I have already passed on the nephew's message of "Blue Friday" and will continue to do so. Only one thing to say....."Blessed be the Lord". With love.

It was my pleasure to know you and to coach you and Christine. You were always kind, gentle and knowing - way beyond your years. More than any skating achievments, you earned status as a national and interrnational hero.

I worked with Garrett and His skating partner Christine at tha Plaza Ice Chalet in Colorado Springs. He was a real joy to be around. He was always happy and the kids who skated at the rink really looked up to Him. He sometimes worked as a skate guard and would skate with them. Throughout the years I have offten thought about Him. I am overjoyed to here that He found Jesus Christ and made Him Lord of his life. I can hardly wait to see him in heaven.
