Helen Hoselton

Helen was born in North Dakota on February 24, 1918. She was the final survivor of six children born to Albert and Olive Odem.
Helen spent her later youth in Sioux City, Iowa where she graduated from Central High School. Shortly after she traveled west to California with two of her sisters where she found work at the Richmond Golf and Country Club.
Helen was followed to California by her suitor Lyle Hoselton. They were married a couple years later in 1940. They bought their first home and were established in Richmond, California. The first of three sons was born in 1943.
In 1951, they moved to Concord where they remained. Tragically their oldest son Robert died in the summer of 1956 at the age of 13. Lyle (Zeke) our father died in 1988. We (Dennis and Thomas) live on to honor our parents. Denny resides in Lake Forest, California and Tom in Benicia, California.
Helen has left behind 9 Grandchildren and 12 great Grandchildren.
Our parents are remembered very lovingly by a multitude of friends and family. The memories will survive them for many years.

Services will be held on Friday, March 7th at 11:00 am, Oakmont Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a favorite charity.
