Janet Basten Obituary
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Geraldine and Patricia; brothers, John, Michael, Robert, and David.
She is survived by her husband Raymond; brothers, Thomas and Howard, and sisters Rosalie, Mary Lee, and Sharon; sons, Robert, Michael, and James; daughter; Paula, several nephews, nieces and grandchildren.
She graduated from Waukegan Township High School and was employed at Victory Memorial Hospital before becoming a housewife and volunteer at Penrose Community Hospital, and Fort Carson Catholic Chapel.
She was a member of The Golden Agers at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 Carefree Circle where her visitation will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, November 6, 2015 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM.
Inurnment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Holy Apostles Rectory Building Fund will be greatly appreciated.

Dear Ray and Family, Jan just joined the faithful departed to be with the other saints before her. She was a great visionary and a joyful woman. We will miss her insight, wit and loving personality.
