Jefferson Bismark Leidecker, dearly known as Mark, was a devoted and faithful husband of Karen MacGregor Leidecker for 50 years. He was the loving father of daughter Kathleen (John), and sons Bryan, Adam (Crystal), and Daniel. Devoted grandfather to 7 fabulous "grandkids": Nicholas, Christopher, Joshua, Nathaniel, Landyn, Victoria, and Lukas. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Minnie Leidecker. Survived by his brother Randy Leidecker, sister Lynn McKenna (Larry McKenna), and nephew Lincoln (Melinda), and nieces Laurelei (Pete) and Larianne (Justin). His passions included his love for family, serving God in church, participating in Bible studies, doing art projects until dementia, reading, spending time with his grandchildren, and enjoying music. He served in the military from which he retired from the Air Force Reserves in 1997. He went home to be with Jesus on March 11, 2026, at the age 79. His legacy will be always putting Christ and others first. A graveside service will be at 12 pm at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery on April 3, 2026 and a Memorial Service on April 4, 2026 at 11:00 am at Mesa Hills Bible Church, 615 West Uintah St., Colorado Springs, CO 80905. Memorial contributions in Jefferson's memory may be made to the Mission Fund at Mesa Hills Bible Church, 615 West Uintah St., Colorado Springs, CO 80905 or Evangel Christian Academy Upper School, 4052 Nonchalant Circle SouthC Colorado Springs, CO 80917.

I will always remember how Mr. Leidecker would always show genuine interest in the engineering marvels we'd be cooking up with Daniel and Adam as kids. Treehouses, Forts, and other creations. He would always spend time to ask us what we were working on, and flash his signature grin. That same grin I see in Daniel. Prayers and condolences from the entire Ruff family.

Curt and I are so sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed having him visit us. Sometimes sitting on our porch he would bring his lawn chair and sit with us. Curt went on a couple of walks with him, he sure enjoyed his walks. We will miss seeing him. Prayers to you Karen and his family.
