Jennifer Flora Obituary

Jennifer Flora passed away at her home on Sunday, December 11, 2005. Jennifer was born April 18, 1945 in Orange California. She married Russell Flora, her High School Sweetheart, April 28, 1965 in Hayward, California. Jennifer settled in Colorado Springs in June 1981 after years as a "Navy Junior", 20 years as an Army Officers wife, living in Japan, Germany, Italy and all over the U.S. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Russell and her two children: Rebecca and Jeffrey. Jennifer, a very happy, outgoing person, was very active in the community until becoming ill. She worked for years at Ecumenical Social Ministries, was active in several retired officers bridge groups at both Air Force Academy and Peterson Air Force Base. Recently, as pain over took her, she continued to mail birthday letters and write sympathy notes for shut-ins for First Lutheran Church members. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to the Memorial Fund of First Lutheran Church, 1515 N. Cascade Ave. Colorado Springs, CO 80907.
