Joseph Wells Obituary

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Our prayers are with you and we have memory of Joe's remarkable patience, kindness, generosity, love, and the gift of his time and interest shown to one of our own family members, living in Colorado Springs, with special needs. We are deeply thankful for Joe's contribution to our family member's life. He, himself, is missing this great man, though he is not always able to express for himself, or all that he feels. So, we express our gratitude, in his behalf, to Joe and his family, for their kindness. Though we did not know Joe well, personally, in other ways, and were only acquaintances, as beneficiaries of his kindness, we feel his strength and compassion in this one area might have been just one example of a life and heart given to service and love shown to others --and maybe sometimes, as in this case, to those who could not possibly benefit him or prosper him in return. So, utterly selfless contribution and a life to be regarded as purposeful, given that the "accomplishment" was love and had meaning in the lives of others. For this, we are deeply thankful.
