Kathleen Hatlelid Obituary

Hatlelid
Kathleen (Kathie) Sue Hatlelid
August 1, 2023

Kathie S. Hatlelid passed away peacefully just before sunrise on 1 August 2023.
She was born 21 June 1943 and lived in many interesting places growing up, such as Dubai and Egypt and later to various locations on assignments with USAF husband Colonel Carl Hatlelid. She had a deep love for all animals, birds, shell collecting and nature. Kathie enjoyed playing and teaching pickleball, working out and in younger years displayed amazing equestrian skills. She was a very quiet, private lady that faithfully and generously supported numerous charities and organizations that were special to her. Kathie's parents, Laurence and Verona King and husband Carl preceeded her in death. She is survived by her twin sister Patty and husband Randy Flory as well as a nephew Mark and niece Sarah. Kathie's internment will be in the USAF Academy Cemetery columbarium along with husband Carl. Memories or condolences may be shared at Greenwood and Myers Legacy in Boulder, CO.

I remember Kathy and her joy in playing Pickleball. We also shared a river cruise in France. Such a wonderful experience. May loving memories prevail in times of grief.
