Kathleen Tadie Obituary

Kathleen Clare Tadie January 9, 1933 - June 9, 2007. Kathleen C. Tadie passed away in her home in Sparks, Nevada on June 9, 2007 after a battle with cancer. She was born on January 9, 1933, in Monmouth, Illinois, to Irene and Ward Noonan and grew up in Monmouth graduating from Monmouth High School in 1950. Kathleen married Thomas Tadie in 1954 and moved to Galesburg, Illinois where they raised their family. The family moved to Colorado Springs in 1970 where they were members of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church and their children attended Divine Redeemer Elementary School and St. Mary's High School. She was employed by the El Paso County Motor Vehicle Department for 23 years. After retirement in 1994 she and her husband moved to Gresham, Oregon prior to settling in Sparks, NV in 1997. Kathleen is survived by her husband Tom of 53 years, son Gary Tadie of Portland, Oregon, daughter Carol Weber of Sarasota, Florida, son Dan (and Robin) Tadie of Colorado Springs, son Greg (and Tricia) Tadie of Tacoma, Washington, daughter Cindy (and Kevin) Bingham of Edina, Minnesota, daughter Lisa (and John) Pence of Largo, Florida, son Jeff (and Nikola) Tadie of Hamilton, Virginia, and 15 grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Betty Anderson, Regina Noonan, Teresa Darwine, Pat Holt, and Dolores Campagna. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death. A Memorial Mass was held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sparks on June 20, 2007. The family will gather for a Memorial Mass to be held on July 6, 2007 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Galesburg, IL. She will forever be remembered as a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathleen's honor to St. Mary's High School, 2501 East Yampa Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
