Kurt Wittges Obituary
Mr. Wittges was a graduate of Corpus Christi Elementary, St. Mary's High School, and the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in geophysical engineering. He was a lifelong member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
He was employed 10 years by Standard Oil, serving in locations such as Peru, Columbia, Libya, and Denmark. He then was employed by Phil Long Ford in Colorado Springs, retiring in 1997.
Mr. Wittges was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dolly. He is survived by his loving wife, Roberta; daughter, Laura Greschner; grandchildren, Sara Wolfe and Tristyn Bernal; and sister, Joan Sullivan, all from Colorado Springs, Colorado.
On Thursday, October 30, 2014 a Rosary will begin at 12:30pm at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Colorado Springs, with the Mass of the Christian Burial to follow. Following the service, burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Roberta and Laura/ I am so sorry to learn of Kurt's passing! I just heard today 10/30 at work. I would have been to the service. SO SAD, a great guy!

Roberta and Laura and family,
My deepest sympathies to you all. I only met him a few times in my teen and early 20s years, but I know one thing, he really loved you both, and cared deeply for you. He was so excited when he became a Grandpa that first time.
I hope that they many happy memories you have of him with overshadow some of the sadness that you are feeling. My best to you all, love and hugs!
