Kyle J. Harris, just 46 years old, passed away on October 11, 2021 from COVID-19. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. He was born in Great Falls, MT, was a 1993 graduate of Widefield High School, and lived in Colorado Springs most of his life.
He earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Phoenix; he was employed at Oracle for 20 years, and recently employed by the City of Colorado Springs.
Kyle was an avid poker player, life-long baseball enthusiast, and a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.
Kyle is survived by his parents Ed and Sandra; sons Caelen and Braeden (wife Sam) and daughter Jaecey; grandson Sylas (son of Caelen); the love of his life Paula and her sons Nathan and Dominik; his sisters Shelly (husband Rick) and Alana; nephews Evan and Cordell and nieces Holly and Cassie (husband Cole); an abundance of friends and extended family; and his beloved dog Sadie.
A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Shrine of Remembrance. Contributions in memory of Kyle can be made to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado.

Kyle and I were partners in crime in the late 80´s growing up in Hawaii. From cutting paths through the jungle, to football and baseball, skateboarding, shooting BB guns, and causing mischief of all kinds, he was as ever present and loyal as a 12 year old pal could be. We forged a friendship amongst a small group of guys that has endured over time and that I´ll forever be thankful for. Not surprised at all how great of a father he came to be. Love you man...I´ll see you upstairs someday.

I am sadden by this news. Kyle and I go back 22 years, when we first met working at Gateway Computers Helpdesk. We both moved on to Oracle soon afterwards and developed a strong bond and relationship over the years. We always took breaks at Oracle and went on walks discussing "how to save the world" subjects. Kyle always had a unique perspective on each subject. I will miss you my good friend... RIP.
