Laura Dunning Obituary

Laura Parriott Dunning died suddenly on March 8, 2015. Born April 17, 1956 in Del Rio, TX at Laughlin Air Force Base.

Laura was raised a world traveler and Renaissance woman with the drive to accomplish all. She was an educator, coach, mentor, friend and an amazing wife, mother, daughter and sister.

Laura, survived by her four daughters: Beverly, Lauren, Katherine, Marilyn; her grandchildren, Colten and Farrah Payton; her mother, Mary Parriott; and her brother, Doug Parriott. Her husband, Bradley Dunning and father, Louran Parriott preceded her in death.

Laura was born, raised and forever lived as an Air Force brat. Vastly educated, having obtained advanced degrees from: University of Pennsylvania, University of Southern California, and University of North Dakota. In addition to her academic accolades she could fix and build anything. Laura became a distinguished professor at several universities, and completed her educational career at Colorado Technical

University.

Memorial Service for Laura will be held at 12:30pm, Saturday, March 21st at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expy, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

Reception immediately following at the Family Home, 4837 Portrait Place, Colorado Springs, CO 80917
