Leandro CDeBaca was born in Dawson, New Mexico to Efren Arturo CdeBaca and Josefina Aragon. He met and married his high school sweetheart Flora Acosta on January 23, 1952. Leandro CDeBaca, is survived by his wife Flora, daughters Sherrylynn Bowen, (husband, DeVon); Cynthia Dexter, (husband, Brock); Lise Espinoza, (husband, Antonio); and Pamela Bird, (husband, Patrick); sons Craig CDeBaca and Karl CdeBaca, (wife, Autumn); 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers Arturo CdeBaca and Joseph CdeBaca; and two sisters Angelina Garcia and Lucille Baca.
He retired in 1971, after an exemplary career from the U.S Air Force as a Master Sergeant. He was stationed around the world, to include assignments in the United States and the Pacific Theater, with a second retirement from the U.S. Defense Commissary Agency, after 20 years of a commended service.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He taught his children to be resilient, independent and self-sufficient. All of his grandchildren and great grandchildren loved and cherished their "Pop Pop".
He passed with his loving wife, children, and grandchildren by his side.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, it was Leandro's request to make donations to your local youth outreach program of choice.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
