Leon "Ace" Alston

Leon "Ace" Alston, was born May 13, 1939 in Memphis TN. He was called home on May 19, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Katie Alston; brothers, Frank Jr., Willie and Harold. Leon is survived by his wife of 22 years, Linda (Harding) Alston; son, Kenny; daughters, Jodi, Antinina, Cycily and DeAnn. He is also survived by sister, Sandra; 13 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter; along with a score of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Leon Alston was a proud veteran, serving 29+ years, in the United States Army. He served as a Green Beret and served 3 tours in Vietnam. The retired Garrison Sergeant Major of Fort Carson was highly decorated and respected.
Leon was also a well-known Dj, affectionately known as "Ace" for decades.
