Mary Ann Collins of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away peacefully of natural causes on April 29th, 2022.
Born in Centralia, IL., near St. Louis, MO. Another move was in store 19 years later to Arlington Heights, IL, a Chicago suburb, due to Dan's promotion in the railroad industry. Within a few years, the children had moved out and Mary Ann worked for a major Chicago real estate developer for several years.
In 1989, after both retired, they made their final move to Colorado Springs CO., joining their daughter and son-in-law after after enjoyable vacations to this city. Both were very happy with this decision, playing golf, enjoying travel and the retired life until Dan's death in 1997. Mary Ann was active until very recent years with gardening, her church, travel and enjoying her friends and family. She was a very caring person with a smile for everyone.
Mary Ann is survived by her son David, her daughter Melinda, and her son-in-law Jeff, all of Colorado Springs, CO.
A Memorial Service will be held May 16th at 11:00 AM At Rock Of Ages Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs, 120 N. 31st Street.
Memorials may be made to the charityof the donor's choice.

So sorry to read of Mary Ann's passing. Loved volunteering with her at Garden of the Gods for 13 years. Also remember fondly taking her on trip with us to Yellowstone and Glacier Parks, what fun we had. She was a true and caring friend.
