Pam Gooding Petersen passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs on March 29, 2026 surrounded by the family she cherished. Her legacy lives large in her girls and her grandchildren. We will miss her stories about growing up as an Army brat (her words) in Japan, Philippines and Germany. She enrolled at CU Boulder as one of the small group of women in the Business School where she met her lifelong partner, Jerry. Together they raised their family and navigated the world through multiple moves (11) and thrilling travel. Pam enjoyed tennis and golf and made each home special with her beautiful gardens. After returning to Colorado in 1992, Pam dedicated herself to volunteer work with the Fine Arts Center, Marion House Board, Child Nursery Centers, Catholic Charities, and St. Paul's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her spouse, Jerry Petersen and her daughters Elizabeth (Fred) Rinke, Margaret (Bret) Wacker and Krissy (Scott) Mayer, along with her nine grandchildren.
