Patricia Drennen Obituary

Patricia Anna Lazor Drennen was born February 29, 1952 to John Steve and Anna Elizabeth (Hamrick) Lazor in Ramah, Colorado. She died November 25, 2014 in Colorado Springs, Colorado after a lengthy illness.

Patty was a lifelong resident of the Ramah, Calhan and Colorado Springs area and a graduate of Mitchell High School. She was a cowgirl through and through. She loved horses and was a dedicated barrel racer and team roper and member of numerous barrel racing associations.

She was very artistic, creative and multi-talented. She loved the outdoors, her dogs and horses.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Patrick Drennen; and a brother, Johnny Lazor.

Patty is survived by her brothers, Gilbert (Ann), Bill, Butch (Judy) and Steve (Michelle) Lazor; her sisters, Irene (Lazor) Singer and Eleanor (Lazor) Barr; sister-in-law, Shirley Lazor; and her companion of many years, Larry Wood; as well as other family including many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at The Springs Funeral Services, with burial following at Ramah Cemetery, 35800 Ramah Road East, Ramah, Colorado.
