Ralph Bustamante Obituary

Ralph Bustamante, 80, retired owner of Ralph's Barber Shop, passed away at Memorial Hospital on September 9, 2005, after a brief illness. Ralph was a Colorado Springs resident for 45 years. He was born on January 14, 1925, in French, NM, to Bernardo and Adelina Bustamante. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers and sisters. Ralph was married to his childhood sweetheart, Jennie Olona, on July 10, 1954. He served in the United States Navy and was a WWII veteran. He is survived by his loving wife, Jennie; sons: Ron and Steve (Desiree) Bustamante; daughters: Genny Kring and Dorothy (Matt) Ruzycki; grandchildren: Kimberly (Dave) Wellen, Ralph (Ashley) and Steven Bustamante, Michael, Angela and Brian Ruzycki, Stephanie, Katie, and Amanda Kring, all of Colorado Springs. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2005, at Memorial Gardens, 3825 Airport Road, with rosary following. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2005, at St. Mary's Cathedral, 22 West Kiowa. Ralph's family was the most important part of his life. We miss him dearly, but are comforted to know that we will all be reunited with him in heaven.
