Richard "Dick" Bennett, 95, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, went to be with the Lord on November 13th. He lived his life to glorify and honor his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was known by his love for all, his sense of humor, albeit dry, and his desire to positively impact every person he met with his love for Jesus.He is survived by his wife Rhoda Bennett, one son, Paul Bennett and his wife Janice, their two daughters, Schamberlea (and CJ) Johnson, and Ashlea (and Kenny) Toms, and five great-grandchildren. Richard left these verses for all of us: "Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith." (Hebrews 13:7)
"My soul wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him."
(Psalms 62:5)
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., December 16th at First Evangelical Free Church, 820 N. 30th St. Colorado Springs, CO 80904.
