Richard is a dear friend and fellow lover of fishing. I was fortunate to be with him at Trout Haven several times over the past 7 or 8 years. Such a kind and wonderful man. I ran into him at the temple many times. I will miss you, Richard, and feel blessed to have known you. My condolences go out to your family. I know that you are overjoyed to be with Carol and other beloved family and friends.

Heartfelt Sympathy to Richard and Carol's dear family. Richard, as did Carol, hold a very special place in Roy and my heart. They are my very special angels in Heaven. My last visit of many with Richard I gave him a hug to give to My Roy. We were best friends. I will miss going to visit at him wonderful home and our phone calls. I loved taking my family and visiting friends to Carol and Richard Home. He has touch our life for the better. His five words to me when I called are forever mine, "Is this my Best Friend!" I hear his happiness.

Richard was a humble and great man. I have shared his story of being called as the Colorado Springs Stake President. In the interview as prayers and interviews took place Brother Savio said there are many more educated brothers than I. He was asked his occupation, "I am only a Carpenter." Our beloved Patriarch and friend always followed in our Saviors steps. And for years in my typing my emails with his name spell check would change "Savio" to "Savior".

I love you ~ My dear friend of 33 years ~ you are in peace and joy with our Heavenly Father and loved ones. I am missing you greatly and send my love to my dear friend above.
