Dear Aunt Carol and family,

I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Bob's passing. I have such fond memories of time spent with him. I especially remember our times together as families when visiting Bangor. He was always taking pictures and proudly showing pictures of his family. Even though I did not see him very often in later years
I will miss him as he was always in my thoughts.

Dear Dad,

You were always such a strong, dedicated, and caring Dad and made me feel so safe and protected! You were always there for me to lend a hand or wonderful advice. You always instilled in me the importance of faith and family, and I thank you so much for that! We shared so many wonderful times together (holidays, special occasions, attending my kids special events, and just everyday moments) and I thank you for all of the wonderful memories of family time spent together. You were always there when each of my kids was born, and I could feel your pride and excitement and it filled me with love, happiness and joy! You always wanted to hear how everyone was doing in our family, wanting to share in the pictures and stories of everything going on, and always wanting the very best for all of us. You helped shape who I am today, and I thank you for all of the wonderful life lessons. You showed me how to have strength and wisdom in so many ways, and for that I am forever thankful. You mean the world to me and my family, and we all love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!! We love you and miss you so much. Thank you so much for being more than a father, as you will always be my Dad!

Dad,

I sent you this email in early August...so hard to believe you are no longer with us...52 years and 3 months was not enough time with you...words cannot ever tell you how grateful I am for YOU!

Thank YOU Dad! I learned my work ethic from you and mom! You will never know how grateful I am to have you as my example, watching how hard you always worked all of those years when I was growing up. I look at my life and how blessed I am because you instilled into me a strong desire to work hard, and never quit against all odds, and by doing this my rewards are so many sometimes it is overwhelming for me to think about how blessed and grateful I am. You taught me so much, and I will always have that with me in everything I do.

Thanks for bringing me up in a family that has such strong faith. Dad I know you have lived by the following and I thank you for this, especially as I grow older and think about what an amazing life you have given me. No words can tell you how grateful I am. "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." -- Proverbs 22:6

You mean the world to me and I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!! Always have, always will.
